Artificial Intelligence is a very interesting concept to learn about, but it cannot always be learned very easily. Some great resources to learn about Artificial Intelligence are Edx.edu, and Udacity. The basis of Artificial Intelligence, however, is based off of teaching the computer how to do something instead of programming it to do a certain thing. For example, when teachers teach students, they don’t tell them exactly how to do a certain problem, but instead they teach the students so that when they recognize similar patterns, they are able to handle them. This way, eventually, students get smart enough to solve their own problems, whether it be by searching on Google, or asking peers when they recognize new situations. Unfortunately, scientists have not been able to achieve this perception, which is what is holding scientific discovery back from this emerging Era of Artificial Intelligence.
